Ladies Who Lunch, Sydney for Diabetes’s Australia

On Friday 16th June, 2017  an amazing group of ladies   raised money and shared a glass of bubbles or two over lunch.  Each lunch is held to raise money for a variety of different charities.  This event in June 2017 was   to raise money for Diabetes’s Australia.  This is a charity close to Jamall’s heart as her dear friend Rachel was diagnosed 8 years ago as an adult with type 1 Diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is an auto-immune condition in which the immune system is activated to destroy the cells in the pancreas which produce insulin. They do not know what causes this auto-immune reaction. Type 1 diabetes is not linked to modifiable lifestyle factors. There is no cure and it cannot be prevented. Type 1 diabetes Represents around 10% of all cases of diabetes and is one of the most common chronic childhood conditions.   The event was catered by Simmone Logue who also attended the Lunch.  We enjoyed a few hours with a great group of “Ladies who lunch” and raised over $2000 for Diabetes Austr

Jamall delivered a range of Gifts including Makeup & skincare (Moisturiser, Foundation, Powder, Mascara, Eyeliner, Eye-shadow) Toiletries: (Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Deodorant, Body lotion, Tampons, pads, new underwear) and Perfume.  The ladies were extremely grateful and we had lovely afternoon in great company. This event launched “Ladies who lunch” and the beginning of a bi-annual event to simply en
